Abstract

El propósito fundamental de la presente investigación fue analizar cómo se forma la identidad profesional docente, en este caso de cuatro profesoras frente a grupo, de educación básica en escuelas públicas en el estado de Hidalgo, a través de sus ciclos de vida profesional o de carrera. Utilizando como instrumento para recabar la información la entrevista a profundidad contrastada con el análisis documental, se lograron los objetivos que eran: identificar algunos de los incidentes críticos ocurridos en el transcurso de su carrera docente y cómo se adaptaron a ellos; además identificar sus ciclos de vida profesional. Este trabajo también logró un acercamiento al proceso de formación de la identidad docente y la identificación de algunos de los elementos que la conforman. Los resultados obtenidos serán utilizados como parte de un proyecto más amplio sobre el tema que pretende realizar estudios iguales en escuelas públicas de nivel básico en México y en diferentes países latinoamericanos
