Análisis de fuerzas de corto circuito en un transformador de potencia al comparar programas de elemento finito

Abstract

El desarrollo de la presente tesis es en el estudio de transformadores de potencia. Un transformador es una máquina estática cuya función es la de transferir energía eléctrica. Es un dispositivo que enlaza magnéticamente circuitos eléctricos. Para el estudio y análisis de transformadores se han creado programas computacionales que apoyan en el diseño del mismo. Se realizan distintos análisis mecánicos, eléctricos, magnéticos con el fin de satisfacer las especificaciones del cliente. Los programas aplican distintas técnicas para poder determinar la distribución de esfuerzos mecánicos, flujo magnético, pérdidas en los transformadores, simulación del transformador en condiciones normales y fuera del punto de operación. La parte de diseño a la cual se desea dar enfoque en la presente tesis es hacer un análisis comparativo entre dos herramientas computacionales que calculan fuerzas de corto circuito en un transformador de potencia por medio de la técnica de elemento finito. Los programas son el FLD5, del Dr. O. W. Andersen del Instituto Tecnológico de Noruega; y el producto Maxwell 2D de ANSOFT. Parte de la comparación consta de un estudio teórico de las fuerzas de corto circuito como aproximación de los resultados de ambos programas.
