Suministro de agua potable en situaciones de emergencia

Abstract

En este artículo tratamos de sintetizar las acciones de respuesta inmediata, a corto y medio plazo en lo relativo al abastecimiento de agua para campos de refugiados y/o desplazados y los damnificados por catástrofes naturales, como los casos recientes del terremoto de Haití o el tifón en Filipinas el pasado año, donde los y las especialistas de Agua, Higiene y Saneamiento de las ONGD e instituciones se encargan del abastecimiento de agua potable usando los equipos y materiales especializados para el sector.
