Trabajo en grupo en dos asignaturas de matemáticas

Abstract

Durante los últimos cursos hemos introducido en dos asignaturas matemáticas de los primeros cursos de Ingeniería Civil diversos trabajos en grupo con el objetivo de centrar más la atención en el aprendizaje del alumno. La primera asignatura es Cálculo de primer curso, que es troncal, anual y con clases que cuentan un número importante de alumnos. La segunda Matemáticas Asistidas por Ordenador es optativa, cuatrimestral de segundo curso y el tamaño medio del grupo es pequeño (de 12 a 20 alumnos). El planteamiento en estas asignaturas es totalmente diferente desde el inicio. Es por esto que las actividades grupales que se plantean en ambas asignaturas son en el fondo y en la forma totalmente diferentes aunque con el objetivo común de introducir a los estudiantes en las dinámicas de trabajo colaborativo.
