Samarbeid mellom hjem og barnehage

Abstract

Det var ikke så lett å velge en riktig problemstilling i starten fordi jeg var litt forvirret mellom to temaer: språkutvikling og samarbeid mellom foreldre og barnehagelærer. Likevel valgte jeg tidlig å fokusere på samarbeidet mellom minoritetsforeldre og barnehagelærere. Min interesse for dette temaet har vokst gjennom studiet mitt. Jeg er spesielt nysgjerrig på hvordan innvandrerforeldre tenker om barnas språkutvikling, og hvordan de ønsker å samarbeide med barnehageansatte for å hjelpe barna med å føle seg trygge og komfortable i daglig dialog. I tillegg er det viktig å se på hvilke utfordringer både barnehagelærere og foreldre møter i dette samarbeidet, samt hvordan disse utfordringene kan løses. Problemstillingen for prosjektet er derfor som følger: «Hvordan kan foreldresamarbeid bidra til språkutviklingen hos flerspråklige barn i barnehagen?»
