Abstract

I denne bacheloroppgaven har jeg undersøkt barns lek ut ifra problemstillingen: “Hvilke tanker og erfaringer har pedagogiske ledere om personalets deltakelse i barns lek inne?” Temaet er aktuelt i barnehagen, ettersom store deler av hverdagen består av lek, og ansatte kan forholde seg til dette på ulike måter. Oppgaven er teoretisk forankret i relevant litteratur, inkludert flere ulike lekteorier som knyttes til funnene. Innsamling av datamaterialet har foregått ved bruk av kvalitativ metode, med intervju av to pedagogiske ledere fra ulike barnehager. Denne metoden har gitt meg dyp innsikt i informantenes felles og ulike perspektiver. De fremhever blant annet hvordan deres deltakelse kan være positiv, ved at de får støttet barn i lek. Samtidig påpeker de at leken i barnehagen ofte er voksenstyrt og preges av personalets makt over innerommet. Videre løfter de også frem viktigheten av støttende, veiledende og lekne ansatte, og hvordan en hektisk hverdag kan hindre deres deltakelse i lek. Refleksjon med personalet er en faktor begge informantene trekker frem som avgjørende i arbeidet med egen deltakelse i møte med barns lek
