Ungdoms fritidsvaner, livskvalitet og sosiale relasjoner før, under og etter pandemien

Abstract

Notatet undersøker om pandemien har hatt varige konsekvenser for ungdoms fritidsdeltakelse, livskvalitet og relasjoner. Analyser fra Ungdata (2014–2024) viser små varige endringer. På flere områder har utviklingen gått tilbake til nivået før pandemien eller videreført trender som startet før pandemien. Dette gjelder både i kommuner som ble hardt rammet av pandemien, og i de som var mindre berørt. Det er heller ikke tegn til at pandemien har bidratt til større varige ulikheter i ungdoms hverdagsliv knyttet til kjønn, alder eller sosioøkonomisk status. Notatet er skrevet på oppdrag fra Barne- ungdoms- og familiedirektoratet (Bufdir).
