Abstract

Oppgaven har belyst en kompleks og sammensatt arbeidshverdag med ulike utfordringer knyttet til risikohåndtering, risikokommunikasjon, læring, arbeidsmiljø og erfaringsutveksling. Vi har gjort funn som belyser et forbedringspotensial når det kommer til å tilrettelegge for god risikokommunikasjon for å oppnå et korrekt risikobilde. Det er utfordringer knyttet til avvikssystemet som kriminalomsorgen benytter seg av, og dette får følgefeil i utforming av risikoanalyser og videre beslutninger. Funnene i vår oppgave, i sammenheng med teori og undersøkelser, viser et behov for utbedring av kanaler for risikokommunikasjon. En styrket risikokommunikasjon vil kunne bidra til et mer presist risikobilde, som igjen danner et bedre grunnlag for risikoanalyser, beslutningstaking og helhetlig risikostyring.
