Ledelse for barns medvirkning

Abstract

Denne studien er kvalitativ, og viser på hvilke måter styrer og pedagogiske ledere fremmer barns medvirkning i barnehagen. Datamaterialet er hentet fra to barnehager, en liten og en stor på det sentrale Østlandet. En styrer, to pedagogiske ledere og to assistenter er intervjuet, og det er gjennomført tre observasjoner knyttet til barns medvirkning på avdeling Studien viser at styrer og pedagogiske ledere fremmer barns medvirkning i barnehagen gjennom å legge til rette for systematisk refleksjon i personalet, ved bruk av metodene aksjonslæring og pedagogisk dokumentasjon. Her arbeider barnehagene med henholdsvis følelser og inkludering, og hvordan de voksne i barnehagen møter barna emosjonelt og kognitivt. Dette er organisert gjennom at de ansatte har obligatoriske, jevnlige møter i profesjonfellesskapet, hvor de drøfter sin egen praksis knyttet til disse temaene.
