Bacheloroppgave i sykepleie

Abstract

Bakgrunn Risikofylt alkoholbruk blant eldre øker. Forskning viser at mental og fysisk helse påvirker livskvaliteten, hvilket indikerer at å iverksette tiltak som retter seg mot psykiske og fysiske helseutfordringer kan bidra til å fremme livskvaliteten i denne brukergruppen. Videre viser forskning at rusmiddelbruk blant eldre har alvorlige konsekvenser for somatisk helse, og dødeligheten blant denne brukergruppen er forhøyet sammenlignet med den generelle befolkning. Hensikt Hensikten med oppgaven er å identifisere tiltak sykepleiere kan iverksette, for å fremme livskvaliteten hos eldre hjemmeboende pasienter, som har et problematisk alkoholbruk. Metode Vi har valgt å anvende både kvalitativ og kvalitativ forskningsmetode. Oppgaven basere seg på resultater fra fem forskningsartikler i tillegg til relevant pensumlitteratur. Artiklene er funnet ved anerkjente databaser via UIS sine nettsider. Resultater Gjennom grundig analyse har vi sammenfattet resultatene til fire hovedkategorier, med tilhørende elleve underkategorier. Resultatene viser at relasjonsbygging, helsefremming og tverrfagligsamarbeid er viktige tiltak sykepleiere kan integrere, for at brukerne skal kunne oppleve god livskvalitet.
