Har arbeidslivet rom for eldre arbeidstakere?

Abstract

Holdninger til seniorene i arbeidslivet har blitt mer positive over tid, og stadig flere eldre ansatte anser det psykososiale miljøet på arbeidsplassen som bra. Likevel opplever mange eldre arbeidstakere sårbarhet og frykter å bli tilsidesatt eller skjøvet ut i omstillings- eller nedbemanningsprosesser. Et godt forhold til nærmeste leder kan i slike tilfeller virke beskyttende. Dette er noen av funnene fra prosjektet «Shades of Grey: Aldersnormer, klasse og kjønn i pensjonsreformenes tid» som er gjennomført av NOVA og Institutt for samfunnsforskning (2020–2024). Prosjektet er finansiert av Norges forskningsråd.
