Koherens i et lærerutdanningsperspektiv

Abstract

Koherens i lærerutdanningen handler om hvor meningsfullt og sammenhengende lærerutdanningsprogrammet er. Koherens kan forstås som en dynamisk prosess, som vokser ut av en felles visjon i et lærerutdanningsprogram. Hensikten med denne studien er å se på lektorstudenters opplevelse av koherens i sitt utdanningsprogram, fra et studentperspektiv. I tillegg ses denne opplevelsen i sammenheng med studentenes grad av motivasjon, studieinnsats og deres personlige vurdering av sannsynligheten for å forfølge en karriere som lærere etter utdanningen. Dataen er innsamlet fra ett universitet i Sørøst-Norge, fra studentenes emneevaluering høsten 2023. Den deskriptive analysen har blitt brukt for å se nærmere på studentenes opplevelse av koherens i utdanningsprogrammet. Korrelasjonsanalysen viser at det er signifikant sammenheng mellom studentenes motivasjon, og deres muligheter til å koble sammen ulike deler av programmet. Det konkluderes med at årsaken til få signifikante funn, kan ligge i studiens begrenset antall deltakere.
