Brukermedvirkning i systemutvikling

Abstract

Bakgrunn: For å møte de utfordringene vi har i helsesektoren i Norge i dag, er digitalisering et viktig virkemiddel. Når man skal utvikle digitale verktøy som skal støtte helsepersonell i sin arbeidshverdag, er det viktig at brukere får delta i utformingen av disse. UX-design er en måte å sikre at brukernes behov blir ivaretatt under systemutvikling. Hensikt: Denne studien har som hensikt å se på brukermedvirkning i systemutvikling og spesielt hvordan involvering av UX-designer kan medvirke til dette. Utvalg og metode: Studien er gjennomført som en enkeltcase studie, hvor vi hadde en kvalitativ tilnærming for å innhente data. Vi har benyttet semi-strukturerte intervju, og intervjuguide har blitt utformet med bakgrunn i Trippel diamant-metoden. Informantene har vært UX-designere, utviklere og brukere som har deltatt i et systemutviklingsprosjekt i en stor kommune i Norge. Totalt intervjuet vi ni informanter. Dataene er analysert induktivt etter den tematiske innholdsanalysen til Braun og Clarke. Resultat og konklusjon: Funnene våre viser at i denne systemutviklingen var UX-designerne viktig og sentrale aktører, og de hadde stort fokus på at de var representanter for brukerens stemme. Med dette fokuset og arbeidsmetodene de brukte fikk de en god forståelse av brukers situasjon, og brukerne fikk mulighet til å påvirke systemutviklingen. Det viser seg at Trippel diamant-metoden var en god metode å jobbe etter i et slikt prosjekt. Nøkkelord: UX-design, brukermedvirkning, brukersentrert design, Trippel diamant-metoden, systemutvikling
