Today's climate situation has been labeled the "climate crisis", and is a consequence of increasing climate change as a result of natural and human influence on the climate. In addition to creating global challenges for, among other things, people, wildlife, nature and the environment, climate change also has a legal side that raises several legal questions. The topic of the thesis is the relationship between force majeure and climate change. In the following, the assignment will analyze how the interpretation of the terms and the threshold for force majeure can be affected by climate change. The issue is particularly relevant in light of the serious climate problem and the climate crisis the world is in.
