UNIFORM FORDELING MODULO 1

Abstract

Oppgaven går ut på å studere uniform fordeling av tallfølger modulo en (forkortet u.d. mod 1). Målet til oppgaven er å beskrive uniform fordeling modulo 1 med tanke for at elever som har fordypning i matematikk fra videregående skole, kan (med litt arbeid) forstå matematikken. Når vi sier elever som har fordypning i matematikk fra videregående skole", har vi tnkt elever som har hatt R1 og R2 fra videregående skole. For å oppnå det, har vi brukt noen strategier som fremmer begrepsmessig forståelse. Noen av trategiene er dele opp problemer og beviser, bruke gode eksempler for å gi praktiske erfaringer og bruke grafer som hjelper for å øke elevenes nysgjerrighet og interesse. Begrepet uniform fordeling av følger ble først brukt av den tyske matematikeren og astronomen P. Bohl og av den polske matematikeren W. Sierpinski. Men det var først etter at H. Weyl publiserte sin artikkel om uniform fordeling av polynomer i Mathematische Annalen i 1916, at en så den fulle betydning av begrepet. Den generelle teorien om uniform fordeling ble deretter videreutviklet av ungarske matematikere, spesielt av L. Fejer, og også av nederlandske matematikere, fremfor alt må J. G van der Corput og J. F. Koksma nevnes. Noen av anvendelsene av u.d.mod 1. er generering av tilfeldige tall og bruk i andre felter i matematikk for eksempel i ergodic teori
