Effekten av behavioral skills training for Implementering av discrete trial teaching

Abstract

Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) har vist seg effektivt for å lære mennesker med autismespekterdiagnose mange ulike ferdigheter. Samtidig er det flere studier som viser at DTT må implementeres med høy integritet for å ha god effekt. Riktig implementering av DTT krever opplæring av ansatte. Denne studien søkte å evaluere i hvilken grad behavioral skills training (BST), med aktiv bruk av performance monitoring tool (PMT) kunne gi høyere integritet i implementeringen av DTT hos tre miljøpersonell. Eleven var en ung mann med autisme, psykisk utviklingshemning og tvangslidelse, og målet var å lære han digital klokke ved bruk av DTT. Deltakerne mottok BST; introduksjon, modellering, øving og tilbakemelding individuelt med eksperimentator. Resultatene viste at BST med aktiv bruk av PMT forbedret integriteten til alle deltakerne. Integriteten var opprettholdt ved oppfølging to måneder senere, og det var generalisering til andre mål hvor DTT ble brukt. En kombinasjon av BST med aktiv bruk av PMT ser ut til å være en lovende måte og lære opp personal på, men dette må prøves ut i større skala og med flere typer atferdsanalytiske prosedyrer.
