Abstract

Jeg har jobbet ut fra problemstillingen «hvordan kan sykepleier bidra til at barn med anstrengelsesutløst astma (EIA) mestrer å være i fysisk aktivitet?». Etter gjennomført praksis på Geilomo barnesykehus, så jeg hvordan sykepleieren kunne hjelpe barna til friere deltakelse i hverdagsaktiviteter, som virker positivt på deres helse. Jeg har brukt litteraturstudie for å belyse problemstillingen og satt dette i sammenheng med egne erfaringer. Dersom sykepleieren klarer å opparbeide god relasjon og dermed får rom til å gi barna veiledning, vil det føre til at de opparbeider god kunnskap om egen diagnose og hvordan de kan tilpasse aktivitet i forhold til denne. Dette fører til større trygghet på at de kan mestre situasjonen, som vil gi friere deltakelse i lek og aktivitet.
