Mobbing : hvordan skoler handterer mobbing

Abstract

Regjeringen, kommuner og skoler har et felles mål: Nulltoleranse for mobbing. Er målet realistisk? I følge Roland (2014) økte mobbing med 60 % i perioden 1995-­‐2001, og etter det kunne en se nedgang med 30 %, som holdt frem til 2004. De siste årene har det kommet en ny form for mobbing, nettmobbing, som pågår via mobiltelefoner og internett (Roland & Vaaland, 2006). Opp til 15 prosent som eier en mobiltelefon bekrefter at de har blitt mobbet over mobiltelefonen (Roland & Vaaland, 2006). I opplæringsloven står det i § 9a-­‐3. ”Skolen skal aktivt og systematisk arbeide for å fremje eit godt psykososialt miljø, der den enkelte eleven kan oppleve tryggleik og sosialt tilhør”. Denne setningen har jeg kommet over mange ganger i løpet av mine perioder i praksis. Dette er en lov skolen, lærere og foreldre er innforstått med, men den må også følges. Mobbing er noe som ikke fremmer et godt psykososialt miljø, derfor vil denne loven være viktig innenfor mobbing. Alle elever skal oppleve trygghet og sosial tilhørighet. Jeg kunne sett på mobbing fra ulike vinkler. Det jeg har valgt å se på i mi oppgave er mobbing innenfor skolesystemet. Mobbing er ofte skjult og vanskelig å oppdage, derfor ikke lett å observere. Det vil derfor være enklere å få informasjon om mobbing fra lærere enn fra elever. Avgrensingen min blir da mobbing i skolesystemet, ved hjelp av lærerne sine kunnskaper og erfaringer.
