Miljøinnsjø - Kunnskapsgrunnlag for utvikling av miljøstandard for oppdrett i ferskvann

Abstract

I dette prosjektet har vi utviklet et kunnskapsgrunnlag som kan være første steg på veien til en veileder/standard for miljøundersøkelser i ferskvannsresipienter der det planlegges oppdrett. Et slikt verktøy er nødvendig for å vurdere naturens tålegrenser og sette adekvate miljøkrav for akseptabel påvirkning fra innlandsoppdrett. Vi har gjort en casestudie hvor ulike tilnærminger til miljøovervåkning er testet og vurdert. Vi har blant annet vurdert hvorvidt standarden for å undersøke miljøpåvirkning på bunnen i marint miljø (NS9410:2016) også kan brukes i ferskvann. Videre har vi vurdert hvordan retningslinjer fra vanndirektivet med sin veileder for klassifisering av miljøtilstand i vann (02:2018) kan spisses mer mot vurdering av effekter fra oppdrett. Avslutningsvis har vi pekt på nye teknologier som kan vurderes brukt både for å avklare en resipients egnethet i forkant av etablering av oppdrett og overvåkning under drift.
