Abstract

Vi har i dette prosjektet sett på utviklingen av foryngelse, produksjon og skogstruktur etter utførte fjellskoghogster i granskog på Østlandet. Datamaterialet omfatter 15 bestand der det var utført fjellskoghogst for 13-30 år siden, hvor vi i prosjektet har lagt ut temporære prøveflater for å kunne rekonstruere bestandenes utvikling. Videre har vi sett på utviklingen i et forsøk i Gausdal (Mannstadlia), som består av 16 ruter der det var utført fjellskoghogst i 1974-75. Hovedfokuset ar vært å analysere i hvilken grad uttaksstyrke og ulike karakteristika knyttet til gjenstående skogstruktur kan bidra til å forklare variasjonen i produksjon og foryngelse etter hogstene. Videre har vi utført skogøkonomiske analyser for å vurdere økonomien av fjellskoghogstene i Mannstadlia….
