Kunnskapsoversikt Samfunnssikkerhet og risiko

Abstract

På oppdrag fra Norges forskningsråd har IRIS kartlagt norsk forskning innenfor samfunnssikkerhet og risiko, fortrinnsvis innenfor samfunns-/rettsvitenskapelig retning. Etter en generell kartlegging av aktuelle miljøer og søk etter personer, har 56 personer fra 32 forskningsinstitusjoner mottatt et elektronisk spørreskjema. Alle norske høgskoler og universitet er kartlagt (men ikke alle har mottatt spørreskjema). Resultatene i rapporten bygger på svarene fra 17 institusjoner fordelt på 24 ulike avdelinger. Resultatene viser at det innenfor samfunnssikkerhet og risiko forskes på mange ulike fagområder/tema. Miljøene har erfaring fra en rekke ulike bransjer, både industri, myndigheter og spesialister. Risikofaktorene som benyttes i forskningen er til dels svært forskjellige, og det samme kan sies om metodikken og modellene som blir brukt. I tillegg til akademisk kjente kvalitative og kvantitative forskningsmetoder, benyttes også analyser og modeller som for utenforstående er ukjente. Dette fordi forskningstemaene kan være svært spesifikke.
