In the business world of today, many companies are trying to innovate their firm. Innovation, as the talk of the enterprises nowadays is not only about the product technology, it also for the process innovation, and of people. Through this knowledge, we come up with an idea to touch about the logistics and warehousing cycle . To know its process and how the firm manage their department in an strategic way. This thesis is about the warehousing that we observe in Maersk Drilling Norge AS. This focuses of the cycle of activities which happens in their transit warehouse. Our aim is how to optimize the transit hub/warehouse in connection with the technology nowadays, and also with the help of 5S implementation. This thesis divide into seven chapters: introduction, background, theory, methodology, findings and analyses, validity/reliability, and the conclusion.
