Abstract

Tittel: Sosiale relasjoner og påvirkning på psykisk helse Bakgrunnsinformasjon: Formålet med denne oppgaven er å besvare problemstillingen “Hvordan kan sosiale relasjoner påvirke psykisk helse hos ungdom?”. Psykiske lidelser forekommer ofte. Ifølge Folkehelseinstituttet vil mellom 30 og 50 prosent få en psykisk lidelse i løpet av livet. Valgt teori for å belyse temaet er modellen om person, aktivitet og omgivelser (PEO-modellen) og aktivitetsidentitet. Metode: Denne bacheloroppgaven er en litteraturstudie. Vi har benyttet fem vitenskapelige artikler hentet fra databasen Oria. Analysearbeidet er inspirert av Malteruds firetrinnsmodell for analyse. Resultat og konklusjon: Forskning tyder på at sosiale relasjoner kan påvirke psykisk helse både positivt og negativt. Gode sosiale relasjoner kan bidra til å forebygge psykiske plager, samt å gjenopprette seg fra eventuelt oppståtte utfordringer. Dårlige sosiale relasjoner kan medføre sosial tilbaketrekning og psykisk uhelse. Nøkkelord: Depresjon, ungdom, psykisk helse, relasjoner
