Kritisk tenkning og refleksjon i et zambisk klasserom

Abstract

I denne oppgaven tar jeg for meg begrepene kritisk tenkning og refleksjon, og ser på i hvor stor grad disse begrepene er synlige i et zambisk klasserom. Jeg fant i arbeidet i denne oppgaven at kritisk tenkning og refleksjon i liten grad er å finne i et zambisk klasserom, selv om både læreplan og lærere ved skolen hevder at det er et fokusområde og en særs viktig del av opplæringen. Disse funnene er begrunnet i observasjoner av praksislærer ved skolen, samt observasjoner jeg selv gjorde da jeg testet elevene i refleksjon og kritisk tenkning. I tillegg er deler av oppgaven basert på et kvalitativt intervju gjort av praksislæreren jeg hadde. Problemstillingen blir belyst av teoretiske perspektiver fra Sokrates, John Dewey, Piaget, Rodgers, som alle i stor eller liten grad kan knyttes til forskning gjort på kritisk tenkning. Noen har gjort spesifikk forskning på kritisk tenkning og refleksjon mens andre har jobbet med andre teoretiske perspektiver som belyser tematikken
