Science fiction has always been a part of literature, and books and novels categorised as science fiction often contain technology. The technology introduced in the book might be known to us, and some of the technology might be something the future holds. Technology is a big part of human life, although technology is not just things that are electric; this is what most people think of when they hear the word technology. This essay will look at and analyse some of the technology found in Dune, using the concept of sociotechnical imaginaries
Science Fiction har alltid vært en del av literatur, og bøker og romaner kategorisert som science fiction inneholder ofte teknologi. Teknologien introdusert i boken er kanskje kjent for oss, og noe av teknologien kan kanskje være noe som kommer i fremtiden. Teknologi er en stor del av menneskenes liv, selv om teknologi ikke kun er elektriske ting; er det dette folk tenker når de hører ordet teknologi.
