Mobbing i norsk arbeidsliv

Abstract

Mobbing er et alvorlig problem i dagens samfunn. Temaet har mest fokus på barn og unge, men det er ingenting som tilsier at det slutter ved voksenlivet. Målet med denne bacheloroppgaven er å sette fokus på et tema som kan virke nedprioritert, og gjøre flere oppmerksom på at mobbing forekommer i arbeidslivet tross arbeidsmiljølovens bestemmelser. I tillegg vil oppgaven åpne for mer kunnskap rundt temaet mobbing, samt belyse forskjellige årsaker som kan være med på å forårsake mobbing. Med utgangspunkt i dette har vi utformet problemstillingen “Hvilke forhold predikerer mobbing i Norsk arbeidsliv?”. I oppgaven er det brukt kvantitativ metode, som går ut på statistikk og tall, og har et formål om å teste en hypotese. Studien vi har benyttet er en tidligere undersøkelse gjennomført i virksomheter i Bergen kommune. Tre hypoteser ble testet. Vi fant ut at personlighetstrekket nevrotisisme samt psykososiale arbeidsforhold er med på å predikere mobbing, i tillegg har vi fått bekreftet at LMX-ledelse har en negativ sammenheng med mobbing.
