Kommunale helse- og omsorgstjenester 2017. Statistikk om tjenester og tjenestemottakere

Abstract

I løpet av 2017 var det totalt 361 402 unike personer som mottok én eller flere kommunale helse- og omsorgstjenester, eller 6,8 prosent av befolkningen i Norge. I 2007 var det til sammenligning 306 919 mottakere av slike tjenester gjennom året, noe som den gang representerte om lag 6,5 prosent av befolkningen. I perioden 2007-2017 har dermed antall mottakere av kommunale helse- og omsorgstjenester økt med om lag 18 prosent. Antallet i befolkningen som mottar omsorgstjenester, øker med alderen. I aldersgruppen 67-79 år var det 12,6 prosent av befolkningen som brukte helse- og omsorgstjenester i 2017. I aldersgruppen 80-89 år er halvparten brukere av slike tjenester, mens det blant de i aldergruppen 90 år og eldre er nær 90 prosent som mottar en eller flere slike tjenester. Det var i alt 217 059 personer i alderen 67 år og eldre som mottok helse- og omsorgstjenester i 2017, noe som utgjør om lag 60 prosent av alle som mottok slike tjenester.
