Overgangen barnehagen - skole

Abstract

English: I have selected this bachelor assignment to study the transition between kindergarten- school to answer my problem: “What is the emphasis on educators in kindergartens and schools to promote a good transition for the 6-year olds” To approach me to the problem I chose a qualitative method and interviewed educators both in school and kindergarten. There has been a large focus on this transition since 1997, increased focus on the children who was 6 years old. In recent times also came the knowledge that would ensure the subject and quality of all. This implies more focus on the learning concept than to play. The cooperation between these two instances has long been focused on, but there is still a question of how the agencies collaborate and if the cooperation is good enough. Out of interview, the educators presented collaboration, social competence and parenting cooperation important to ensure safe and good transition to school.

Norsk: I denne bacheloroppgaven har jeg valgt å se nærmere på overgangen mellom barnehage- skole for å kunne besvare problemstillingen min: «Hva legges vekt på av pedagoger i barnehagen og skolen for å fremme en god overgang for 6 åringene?» For å nærme meg et svar på problemstillingen valgte jeg kvalitativ metode og intervjuet pedagoger både i skole og barnehage. Det har blitt et større fokus på denne overgangen etter det i 1997 ble økt fokus på 6 åringene. I senere tid kom også kunnskapsløftet som skulle sikre fag og kvalitet for alle. Dette innebar mer fokus på læringsbegrepet enn leken. Samarbeidet mellom disse to instansene har det lenge vært fokusert på, men ennå stilles det spørsmål om hvordan instansene samarbeider, og om samarbeidet er godt nok. Ut fra intervju med pedagoger presenteres samarbeid, sosial kompetanse og foreldresamarbeid som noe de vektlegger for å sikre en trygg og god overgang til skolen.
