Hvordan kan sykepleier bidra til å begrense legemiddelrelaterte problemer hos sykehjemspasienter?

Abstract

Hensikt: I besvarelsen vil jeg undersøke hvordan sykepleier kan bidra til å begrense legemiddelrelaterte problemer hos sykehjemspasienter. Metode: Litterær oppgave. Funn: Forskningsartiklene belyser områder innen temaene eldre, legemidler, tverrfaglig samarbeid, utfordringer og sykepleierens ansvar og rolle ved legemiddelbehandling- og håndtering. Drøfting: Faglitteratur belyser hvilket ansvar sykepleieren har innen legemiddelbehandling- og håndtering. Dette drøftes opp mot funn fra forskningsartiklene, som viser hvilke utfordringer sykepleieren står ovenfor. Konklusjon: Det er store kontraster mellom teori og praksis ved legemiddelhåndtering, men det finnes løsninger som kan gjøre det mulig for sykepleieren til å bidra med å begrense legemiddelrelaterte problemer.
