Abstract

: Denne rapporten presenterer resultatene fra en pilotstudie av betydningen av økt ekstremnedbør i et fremtidig klima for flomberegninger utført med nedbør-avløpsmodellen PQRUT. Estimater for ekstremnedbør basert på seks klimafremskrivninger er brukt som inndata for modellen, og den beregnede tilløpsflommen er rutet gjennom magasinet for 24 dammer fra ulike deler av landet. Resultatene er sammenliknet med PQRUTberegninger der dagens tilløpsflom er gitt et påslag på 20%. I de fleste tilfellene samsvarer resultatene ganske bra. Det er likevel mye usikkerhet rundt estimater av ekstremnedbør basert på klimafremskrivninger, og det er derfor behov for videre studier av dette. Dagens praksis med å vurdere klimaendringers effekt bare på dimensjonerende flom og tilhørende dimensjonerende flomvannstand (ikke på QPMF /ulykkesflom), bør videreføres inntil nye forskningsresultater foreligger.
