Abstract

Denne rapporten beskriver utvikling og testing av et konsept for en skånsom trål og snurrevadpose som opprettholder stort volum og lav innvendig strømningshastighet uten å redusere innstrømningshastigheten til posen. Det vil si en pose der fisken ikke merker noen blokkering av strømningen ved innløpet til posen, og der posens tverrsnitt utvider seg bak innløpet samtidig som strømningshastigheten avtar. Testene ble gjennomført i SINTEF Fiskeri og havbruks strømningstank i Hirtshals. Vi testet et konsept i skala 1:3 med fullskala diameter 3 m, lengde 6 m og volum om lag 40 m3, og fant at strømningshastigheten inne i posen enkelt kunne reduseres til 10-20 % av innstrømningshastigheten (f.eks taue-/trålhastighet).
