Forståelser av barns medvirkning.

Forståelser av barns medvirkning.

Abstract

English: This bachelor assignment seeks understanding of the concept of child participation and how this is practiced. By using qualitative method I have obtained data from the kindergarten field trough interview. The three interviewees have a few similarities in their understanding, but by illuminating their understanding of practice and challenges, it turns out that these interviewees work with children`s participation in very different ways. The results of the interviews emphasize that there is a need to clarify the role of kindergarten teacher in terms of how children get opportunities to participate in kindergarten. In conclusion, I highlight my thoughts that children`s participation can be explained as a way of being, it`s something you “are” and not something you “do”.
