Abstract

Problemstilling “Hvilke implikasjoner har sosial ulikhet for psykisk helse i ulike aldersgrupper?” Teori Sosial ulikhet i helse, hvordan sosioøkonomisk status påvirker psykisk helse og hva sosial kapital har å si for sosial ulikhet. I tillegg inngår psykiske lidelser og psykiske plager i teorien. Alt dette sees i sammenheng med voksen, foreldre og barn og unge. Metode I denne oppgaven anvendes litteraturstudie som metode. Datapresentasjon og diskusjon Datapresentasjonen tar utgangspunkt i åtte vitenskapelige artikler, som både er kvalitativ og kvantitativ. I diskusjonen sees artiklenes resultater i sammenheng med hverandre, og opp mot teori. Konklusjon Konklusjonen er at sosial ulikhet påvirker psykisk helse hele livet, men i varierende grad i de ulike aldersgruppene. Sosioøkonomisk status er av stor betydning for utvikling av psykiske helseproblemer, slik som angst og depresjon. Likevel ser en at det er mange ulike årsaksforhold og faktorer som spiller inn.
