Abstract

Bakgrunn: Denne bacheloroppgavens problemstilling omhandler i hvilken grad sosial ulikhet påvirker barns aktivitetsvaner. Emneknagger som sosioøkonomisk status, sosial-, kulturell-, og økonomisk kapital og habitus blir brukt. Teori: Sosial ulikhet og fysisk aktivitet teoretiseres i denne delen av oppgaven. Sosial ulikhet forklares først, deretter ulike emneknagger for sosial ulikhet. Pierre Bourdieu forklares gjennom kapitalbegrepet og habitus. Fysisk aktivitet teoretiseres blant annet ved definering av selve begrepet og aktivitetsanbefalinger. Metode: Oppgaven er en litteraturstudie, og inneholder derfor blant annet forklaringer på hvilke systematiske litteratursøk som er gjort. Resultater og diskusjon: I resultatkapittelet presenteres de åtte artiklene som inngår i oppgaven. Resultatene i artiklene diskuteres senere opp mot hverandre og teorien. Konklusjon: Konklusjonen nyanserer forskning som utelukkende hevder at sosial ulikhet fører til redusert fysisk aktivitet. Sosial ulikhet har betydning for barns aktivitetsvaner, og det foreligger flere ulike faktorer som kan påvirke. Selv om barns aktivitetsvaner påvirkes, er ikke den ene eller den andre sosiale gruppen i mer fysisk aktivitet.
