Abstract

Bakgrunn for valg av tema: Etter erfaring i psykiatrisk praksis og en observasjon- og behandlingsavdeling ser jeg at hvordan en møter pasienter med ROP-lidelser er viktig for å danne en god relasjon. Jeg har derfor et ønske om å tilegne meg mer kunnskap om mellommenneskelige forhold og hva motiverende intervju kan gjøre i forhold til relasjonsbygging. Problemstilling: Hvordan kan sykepleier bygge en god relasjon til pasienter med ROP-lidelser? Oppgavens hensikt: Hensikten med oppgaven er å finne ut hvordan sykepleiere kan skape gode relasjoner med ROP-pasienter. Metode: Denne oppgaven er en litteraturstudie. Søkeordene som ble brukt: dual diagnosis, nurs*, motivational interviewing, mental health, therapeutic relations, substance abuse og comorbid substance abuse. Søkeordene ble brukt i søkebasene: CINAHL, SveMed+, PsykINFO og PubMed. Jeg har inkludert seks forskningsartikler i denne oppgaven. Resultat: Alle forskningsartiklene viser at å skape gode relasjoner er en stor del av forarbeidet i behandlingen av ROP-pasienter. Det å kunne skape en menneske-til-menneske relasjon med pasientene er noen ganger avgjørende for om pasienter ønsker å bli i behandling. Om pasientene føler seg dårlig behandlet eller stigmatisert vil dette være med på å redusere selvfølelsen og deres følelse av mestring. Relasjon er grunnleggende i behandlingen av ROP-pasienter. Nøkkelord: ROP-lidelser, relasjon, holdninger, sykepleier-pasient forhold, motiverende samtale.
