Abstract

Tittel: Tarmbakterier; en litteraturstudie Problemstilling: Hvilken betydning har vaginalfødsel kontra keisersnitt for barnets tarmflora? Metode: Denne bacheloroppgaven baserer seg på allerede kjent kunnskap og litteratur. Det er derfor en litteraturstudie. Det er tatt i bruk kjente søkedatabaser for å finne aktuelle artikler og studier. Skolens bibliotek er også tatt i bruk og pensumbøker er blitt benyttet. Resultater: I kapittel tre vil de ulike artiklene bli presentert i en skjematisk tabell, der studentene har sammenfattet kort formål, populasjon, fremgangsmåte, metode og resultater. Konklusjon: Ved å sammenfatte resultatene av de ulike forskningsartiklene har studentene vist hvilke betydning vaginafødsel kontra keisersnitt kan ha for barnets tarmflora. Studentene har dermed svart på problemstillingen; Hvilken betydning har vaginalfødsel kontra keisersnitt for barnets tarmflora? En gjennomgang av de syv artiklene viser at barnets tarmflora er ulik hos vaginalfødte barn kontra barn født med keisersnitt. Blant barn født vaginalt, er det for eksempel flere Bifidobacterium arter som overføres fra mor og koloniserer barnets tarm kort tid etter fødselen. Ulikhetene i tarmfloraen kan vare fra seks uker, seks måneder, og til og med syv år før den jevner seg ut. Forskningen studentene har sammenfattet i oppgaven tyder på at mors tarm spiller en viktig rolle for barn født vaginalt og barnets tarmflora. Det er i artiklene undersøkt om det er en sammenheng mellom utvikling av ulike sykdommer som astma, type 1 diabetes og forskjellig type allergier i forhold til hvordan barnet blir født. Andre faktorer som dårlig ernæring, unødvendig bruk av antibiotika, overdreven renslighet eller for mange møter med uheldige bakterier kan også ha en innvirkning. På bakgrunn av disse resultatene så fremkommer det ikke entydige svar, til det er design og forskningsspørsmål i artiklene for ulike.
