Abstract

Ved en sammenlignende laboratorieprøving (SLP) arrangert i november 2013 – januar 2014 deltok 65 laboratorier i bestemmelse av pH, suspendert stoff (tørrstoff og gløderest), sum organisk stoff (biokjemisk oksygenforbruk, kjemisk oksygenforbruk, totalt organisk karbon), totalfosfor, totalnitrogen og ni tungmetaller i syntetiske vannprøver. Ved denne SLPen, som har sitt utgangspunkt i Miljødirektoratets og fylkesmennenes kontroll med industriutslipp, er 82 % av resultatene ansett som akseptable. Dette er omtrent på det kvalitetsnivå som disse SLPene normalt ligger. Generelt viste kvaliteten av metallbestemmelsene en viss fremgang i forhold til den siste SLPen. Biokjemisk oksygenforbruk viste høy kvalitet, men utføres av stadig færre laboratorier. Suspendert stoff og totalt organisk karbon viste imidlertid en viss nedgang i kvalitet sammenliknet med den siste SLPen. Videre må fortsatt kvaliteten av bestemmelsen av totalnitrogen betegnes som lite tilfredsstillende.
