Abstract

Under en sammenlignende laboratorieprøvning (SLP) gjennomført i september – oktober 2012 bestemte 60 av 62 påmeldte laboratorier pH, konduktivitet, turbiditet, farge, UV-absorpsjon, natrium, kalium, kalsium, magnesium, hardhet, alkalitet, klorid, sulfat, fluorid, totalt organisk karbon, kjemisk oksygenforbruk (CODMn), fosfat, totalfosfor, ammonium, nitrat, totalnitrogen, aluminium, bly, jern, kadmium, kobber, krom, mangan, nikkel, sink, antimon og arsen i vann. Prøvene ble laget ved å tilsette kjente stoffmengder til vann fra Himtjern samt fra laboratoriets springvann. Vannet var på forhånd filtrert gjennom membranfilter med porevidde 0,45 µm. Totalt ble 81 % av resultatene vurdert som akseptable, en andel som er en god del høyere enn de foregående år. Best resultater viser antimon, natrium, konduktivitet, fargetall, alkalitet, klorid, sulfat og kobber. Alle disse hadde en andel akseptable resultater på over 90%. De svakeste resultater ble observert for nitrat, fluorid, bly, ammonium, kjemisk oksygenforbruk og nikkel. Alle disse hadde mindre enn 70 % akseptable resultater. Det kan dog stilles et spørsmålstegn ved stabiliteten av nitrat i det ukonserverte prøvesettet A-D. Laboratoriene må ta hensyn til konsentrasjonsområde ved evalueringen av sine resultater. Det er stor variasjon i analysekvaliteten hos enkelte laboratorier, og de som har avvikende resultater bør snarest igangsette tiltak for å forbedre kvaliteten på bestemmelsene. Ammonium ble denne gangen, etter to års fravær, reintrodusert som analyseparameter.
