Utredninger Vansjø - Kartlegging av vannkvalitet i 2006

Abstract

Vannområdeutvalget Morsa fikk i 2006 økonomisk støtte fra MD/SFT til å gjennomføre utredninger i Vansjø i 2006. Denne delrapporten omhandler kartleggingen av vannkvaliteten. Overvåkingen pågikk i perioden fra begynnelsen av mai til den 9.oktober 2006. Resultatene viser at mens vannkvaliteten i Storefjorden har blitt bedre de siste 5 årene, er en tilsvarende utvikling ikke synlig i Vanemfjorden. Det ble i Vanemfjorden påvist svært store mengder med blågrønnalger også i 2006. I Storefjorden ble det påvist små mengder med algegiften microcystin men det ble ikke påvist microcystin i rentvannet fra Vansjø vannverk. I Vanemfjorden ble det påvist en konsentrasjon av microcystin opp mot grensen for badevannskvalitet (på 10 ug/l). NIVA anbefalte i denne situasjonen de lokale helsemyndighetene å fraråde befolkningen å bade i denne delen av Vansjø. Merk: Feil L.nr i rapporten riktig er OR-5334
