Forskningspampanjen for skoler 2005. Bakterier i drikkevann

Abstract

NIVA arrangerte, i samarbeid med NILU og Utdanningsdirektoratet, en forskningskampanje for skoleklasser i forbindelse med Forskningsdagene 2005. Skoleklassene som deltok fikk tilsendt utstyr for analyse av bakterieinnholdet i skolens drikkevann og ev. andre vannkilder. Skolene utarbeidet rapporter for egne resultater, mens den foreliggende rapporten er en sammenstilling av alle resultatene fra kampanjen. Resultatene fra de i alt 173 deltakende skolene viser godt samsvar med det en skulle forvente; kranvann hadde gjennomgående god bakteriologisk vannkvalitet, vann fra vanndispensere og drikkeflasker hadde gjennomgående noe høyere bakterieinnhold, mens vann fra bekker, innsjøer og søledammer hadde høyt bakterieinnhold. Lavest innhold av bakterier ble funnet i kokt vann.
