Abstract

Under en sammenlignende laboratorieprøvning gjennomført i februar-mars 2002 bestemte 49 laboratorier pH, konduktivitet, natrium, kalsium, magnesium, klorid, sulfat, fluorid, totalt organisk karbon, kjemisk oksygenforbruk (COD MN), fosfat, totalfosfor, nitrat, totalnitrogen, aluminium, bly, kadmium, kobber og sink i vann. Prøvene ble laget ved å sette kjente stoffmengder til et naturlig innsjøvann etter membranfiltrering. Totalt ble 81% av resultatene vurdert som akseptable, en andel som er sammenlignbar med de to foregående slp'er. Best resultater viser måling av konduktivitet, natrium, magnesium og kjemisk oksygenforbruk med andel akseptable resultater på 91-95%. De svakeste resultatene ble observert for pH med kun 47% akseptable resultater. Årsaken til denne lave andelen skyldes at prøve A viste seg å være ustabil med hensyn på pH, uten at det har vært mulig å finne grunnen til at denne situasjonen oppsto. Det er stor variasjon i analysekvalitet hos enkelte laboratorier.
