Organiske miljøgifter i drikkevann. (Dangerous organic substances in drinking water)

Abstract

Dette studiet har vært et internt forskningsprosjekt ved NIVA i 1996. Formålet med studiet har vært å kartlegge kunnskapsstatus for miljøgifter i drikkevann. Det er hovedsaklig fokusert på forholdene i Norge, men enkelte sammenligninger med andre land er gjort. Rapporten belyser mulige kilder til organiske miljøgifter generelt, og i drikkevann spesielt, mulige effekter av slike forbindelser, aktuelle analysemetoder, samt rensemetoder. Organiske miljøgifter er påvist både i overflatevann og grunnvann i Norge, og et utvalg av måledata gis. Aktuelle forskrifter og regelverk, samt noen betraktninger rundt myndighetenes rolle på dette området er tatt med.
