Overvåking av vannkvalitet 1995 ROE I, Notodden

Abstract

Vannkvaliteten i Teinåa og grunnvannet under avfallsdeponiet ROE I er undersøkt ved tre anledninger i 1995 - første gang etter vårflommen ved høy grunnvannstand, og to ganger ved lav grunnvannstand henholdsvis i september og november. Grunnvannet under deponiet hadde til dels forhøyede konsentrasjoner av miljøgifter, særlig tungmetaller. Konsentrasjonene var gjennomgående høyest ved høy grunnvannstand. På en av grunnvannsstasjonene var konsentrasjonene av tungmetaller relativt høye, mens konsentrasjonen på de øvrige stasjoner var lave. I Teinåa var konsentrasjonene av miljøgifter lave ved alle prøvetakingspunkt, og det var liten forskjell på vannkvaliteten oppstrøms og nedstrøms deponiet.
