Abstract

På bakgrunn av forsuringssituasjonen i Årdalsvassdraget i Rogaland er det utarbeidet en kalkingsplan for å bedre forholdene for laksen i elven. Planen er utarbeidet i to alternativer, hvorav alternativ I anbefales. Dette alternativet innebærer en doserer i hovedelva ved Nes og en doserer i sidevassdraget Ullestadåna. Kostnader til innkjøp og oppføring av de to doseringsanleggene, samt oppkalking av Sandvatn det første året er anslått til omkring 1,65 mill kr. De årlige utgiftene til kalk (- 900 tonn/år) og drifts-/serviceavtaler er anslått til omlag 0,75 mill. kr.
