Tiltak mot forsuring av Suldalslågen. Kalkingsplan

Abstract

På bakgrunn av forsuringssituasjonen i Suldalslågen er det utarbeidet en kalkingsplan for vassdraget nedenfor Suldalsvatnet. Det er foreslått 4 kalkdoserere i vassdraget som tilsammen skal sikre tilstrekkelig god vannkvalitet for reproduksjon av laks på den lakseførende strekningen i elva. Innkjøp og etablering av doserere vil beløpe seg til anslagsvis 2,9 mill. kr. Ved normal avrenning er det beregnet et samlet årlig kalkforbruk i anleggene på 2400 tonn kalk. Dette innebærer årlige driftsutgifter på omkring 1,9 mill. kr.
