Vurdering av vannkvalitet i Solnørvassdraget 1994

Abstract

Det er gjennomført en enkel undersøkelse av vannkvalitet i Solnørvassdraget. Undersøkelsen omfattet innsamling og analyser av enkelte fysisk-kjemiske parametre sammen med biologiske prøver i form av planteplankton- og begroingsprøver. I tillegg ble det samlet inn og analysert bakteriologiske prøver. Hensikten var å gi vurdering av vannkvaliteten i Solnørvassdraget. De fysisk-kjemiske analysene og de biologiske analysene viste relativt humøse, svakt sure og inonefattige vannmasser som var i en "god" tilstand etter SFTs kriterier for klassifisering av miljøkvalitet. (Spesielle lave ph-verdier i mai er nærmere omtalt). Vannmassene var lite forurenset av eutrofierende stoffer. De bakteriologiske analysene viste at det til tider var en viss tilførsel av fekal forurensning til vassdraget. Slik forurensning var markert nedstrøms tettbebyggelsen i Solnørdal. De andre stasjonene hadde gjennomgående lave verdier for termotolerante koliforme bakterier, men på enkelte tidspunkter ble det registrert noe høyere verdier også der. Dette skyldes sannsynligvis i første rekke avrenning fra beiteområder.
