Kartlegging av forurensning fra Flåt Nikkelgruve, Evje

Abstract

NIVA har undersøkt forurensningstransporten fra Flåt nikkelgruve ved Evje fra november 1991 til august 1992. Nikkel var viktigste forurensningsparameter og total årlig transport var ca. 1.5 tonn/år. Viktigste forurensningskilde var øvre avgangsdam (60%), mens gruvevannet sto for ca. 20% av totaltransporten. Virkningen i Oddebekken er markert, men sur nedbør har antakelig større betydning for biologiske forhold i vassdraget.
