Lyngdalselva 1986. Vurdering av vannkvalitet

Abstract

Rapporten bygger på analyser fra 6 vannprøveserier fra 12 stasjoner i Lyngdalselva i 1986. Sammenligninger er gjordt med enkelte prøveserier fra 1981 og 1983. Vassdraget er sterkt surt, særlig i øvre del. Fosfor-innholdet er svært lavt i de aller fleste prøvene, mens nitrogeninnholdet er høgt. Forsuring kan være en årsak til disse forholdene. Den nedre delen av elva har til tider høgt bakterieinnhold målt både som kimtall, coliforme bakterier og termostabile coliforme bakterier.
