Abstract

Det er utført en undersøkelse av vannkvaliteten ved Frogn kommunes direktefellingsanlegg på Heer. Undersøkelsen viste for høye verdier for turbiditet og aluminium i forhold til SIFFs normer for drikkevann. Med råvann fra vannverket er det gjort undersøkelser i laboratoriet for å klarlegge de optimale betingelsene for felling. I et pilotanlegg for direktefelling med samme filteroppbygging som i vannverket ble det oppnådd tilfredsstillende vannkvalitet. I vannverket ga imidlertid etterprøving ved optimale betingelser bare en viss forbedring av vannkvaliteten over en kortere periode. Årsaken til at renseanlegget ikke ga tilfredsstillende renseeffekt er ikke klarlagt, men antas å ha sammenheng med at hurtigmixingen og flokkuleringen i anlegget bare delvis gir filtrerbare fnokker.
