Abstract

Denne artikkelen analyserer arbeidsmarkedsmobilitet, sysselsetting og yrkesdeltakelse etter nasjonalitet. Vi analyserer omfang og innretning på mobiliteten, sammenhengen mellom regional sysselsettingsvekst og mobilitet, og aktørenes næringstilhørighet og yrkesdeltakelse etter botid i landet. Arbeidsmarkedsmobiliteten er generelt lavere hos norske enn hos utenlandske statsborgere. På den annen side er det sterkere sammenheng mellom mobilitet og regional sysselsettingsutvikling hos norske enn hos utenlandske statsborgere. Videre observeres det klare forskjeller i næringstilhørighet hos innvandrergruppene med hensyn til kort, mellomlang og lang botid i landet. Yrkesdeltakelsen er høyere blant nordmenn enn hos innvandrergruppene med unntak av personer fra våre nordiske naboland. Yrkesdeltakelsen er klart lavest hos personer fra ikke-vestlige land, men deltakelsen er stigende med økt botid i landet.
